Compass Minerals Names Jordan Taylor as VP of Operations in Ogden

Compass Minerals has appointed Jordan Taylor to vice president, operations, Utah.  Taylor is responsible for leading operations and strategy at the company’s Ogden, Utah, facility.

Taylor has been with Compass Minerals for more than four years and has served as vice president, lithium operations, and director, engineering and operational support. In these roles, he led strategic continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives, and provided technical expertise support to the operations team, making valuable contributions in capital management, quality, mine planning, and project management and governance.

Prior to Compass Minerals, he held several operations and engineering roles of increasing responsibility at companies such as Covia Corporation, Anglo American and BHP. Along with his 17 years of professional experience and expertise, Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in mining and minerals engineering from Virginia Tech. He’s also a licensed professional engineer.
