Compass Minerals Named One of America’s Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek

Compass Minerals has earned a spot on Newsweek magazine’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies 2022, which recognizes top-performing companies that are making a difference through their environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) actions.

This prestigious list is presented by Newsweek and Statista, Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

“Being recognized by Newsweek is a proud accomplishment and is a direct result of the work our employees do every day to drive a more sustainable future,” said Kevin S. Crutchfield, president and CEO. “We are committed to the responsible transformation of Earth’s natural resources. Managing the ESG issues that matter most to our company and stakeholders is critical to our business.”

Statista and Newsweek compiled the list based on publicly available performance data in the environmental, social and corporate governance categories as well as an independent survey of 11,000 U.S. residents. The final list recognizes the top 500 most responsible companies across 14 different industry subcategories.
