Compass Minerals Names Brett Teuscher Chief Accounting Officer
Compass Minerals today announced Brett Teuscher has been named chief accounting officer.
In this role, he will serve as the principal accounting office for the company. Teuscher will have lead responsibility for all technical accounting matters, accounting policy and standards, and the management of external reporting requirements to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the company’s financial filings.

Teuscher joined Compass Minerals in May 2026 as senior director, internal audit. He has more than 19 years of experience in finance and accounting. Most recently, he held positions of increasing responsibility at BlueScope, ultimately serving as director of finance transformation, ERM and procurement. Prior to that, he held finance and internal audit roles at Coloramo Federal Credit Union, UnitedHealth Group, Whirlpool, JCPenney and the Utah State Tax Commission. He earned both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Utah State University.
