Jonathan Rose

CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

Jonathan Rose joined Compass Minerals as chief strategy officer in August 2023. In this role, Mr. Rose leads efforts to chart a long-term strategic roadmap for the company.

Mr. Rose brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in strategy, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and human resources. He most recently served as chief financial officer for Standard Power. Previously, Mr. Rose held a number of leadership roles, largely focused on the mining and metals sector, at some of the largest investment banks and financial service companies in the world, including Deutsche Bank from 2017 to 2021, BMO Capital Markets from 2010 to 2017, UBS Investment Bank from 2002 to 2010 and JPMorgan from 1996 to 2001. Early in his career, he also spent time as a field coordinator for a non-profit dedicated to international development and education.

Mr. Rose earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Virginia and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York City.
