Gordon Dunn

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Gordon Dunn joined Compass Minerals in October 2007 as mine manager at the Winsford salt mine. He was promoted to director, U.K. operations, in January 2012 and to managing director, U.K. operations, in January 2014, where he was responsible for leading the Winsford salt mine and DeepStore records management business. He was named chief operations officer in February 2024 to oversee global operations, including environmental, health, safety and security, for the company’s mining, packaging and production facilities. His nearly four decades of operations experience are used to help ensure safe and reliable production and to maximize the value of our advantaged assets.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Dunn served as national operations manager at both Air Liquide United Kingdom Limited and Linde Gas.

Mr. Dunn holds a Bachelor of Science in mining engineering from Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, England, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull in Hull, England.
