Compass Minerals announced the election of Vance O. Holtzman to the company’s board of directors.

He was nominated for appointment by Koch Industries Inc., pursuant to the terms of the strategic equity investment in Compass Minerals in 2022 by Koch Minerals and Trading LLC, a Koch subsidiary.

Holtzman brings to the board both financial expertise and experience working with extractive companies like Compass Minerals.

Former board members Jon Chisholm and Jill Gardiner did not stand for reelection at the company’s annual meeting. With these changes, the board is now eight members.
