Compass Minerals Releases Fiscal 2021 ESG Report

Compass Minerals published its Fiscal 2021 ESG Report today.

The report highlights areas of focus over the past year with regard to key environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues important to the company and its stakeholders.  

The structure and disclosures of the report align with leading sustainability reporting frameworks, namely the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). Compass Minerals also looked to the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to help inform its reporting.

Within the report, Compass Minerals shared its fiscal 2025 ESG goals and targets. These goals, and the targets that serve as milestones toward achieving them, are informed by input from both internal and external stakeholders collected as part of a recently conducted materiality assessment, as well as the broader sustainability landscape.
