Compass Minerals Names New VP of Information Technology Services

Compass Minerals has appointed Rob Fisher as its new vice president of information technology services (ITS). In this role, he will be responsible for defining the corporate ITS strategy and aligning ITS solutions with overall company goals.

Fisher joins Compass Minerals with more than 20 years of experience, most recently as vice president of information technology at Kansas City Life Insurance. He brings experience in maximizing technology investments and providing strategic oversight for all aspects of the IT function, including planning, policy development, business intelligence, cyber security and compliance. In addition to his corporate career, Fisher spent six years as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Kansas where he developed and taught a graduate course in IT risk assessment.

Fisher earned his Bachelor of Management Science in finance from State University of New York at Geneseo and his Master of Accounting and Information Systems in information technology from the University of Kansas. He also is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Technology Professional.
