Compass Minerals is proud to be recognized on USA Today’s list of America’s Climate Leaders 2024. This annual list highlights companies striving to reduce carbon emissions.

“We’re dedicated to environmental stewardship and prioritize sustainability by actively addressing the impact of our operations,” said Rick Axthelm, Chief Public Affairs and Sustainability Officer. “Our fiscal 2025 ESG goals, and the targets that serve as milestones toward achieving them, help guide our company’s sustainability programs, initiatives and successes.” 

One of the company’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) targets for fiscal 2025 is to reduce total Scopes 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 5% compared to the fiscal 2021 baseline.

The list of America’s Climate Leaders, compiled by USA Today and Statista, is based on publicly available emissions performance data.
