Compass Minerals has appointed John Craft as vice president and corporate controller. He previously served as vice president of internal audit and compliance.

Craft will serve as a key member of the finance leadership team and be responsible for all aspects of the accounting close process, SEC reporting, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and technical accounting.

Craft has a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He has been recognized as a Certified System Investigator and Certified Internal Auditor.
