Compass Minerals Announces New VP of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
Compass Minerals has named Brandy Johnson as the company’s new vice president, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
Johnson will lead the company’s efforts to ensure policies and practices foster an inclusive, diverse and equitable environment for all employees. Additionally, she will oversee Compass Minerals’ global strategic approach to ensure a workforce culture of equity and belonging.
“Our company launched a D&I program several years ago now, but as our business and our culture continue to evolve and transform, so too must our strategy to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees,” said Mary Frontczak, chief legal and administrative officer and corporate secretary. “Brandy demonstrates a strategic mindset and the passion necessary to propel our business forward in these important areas. I’m excited to welcome her to this new role.”
Joining the company in 2018, Johnson has held previous roles with increasing responsibility, most recently as senior director leading the company’s organizational health initiatives. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Johnson served in several HR leadership positions within the health care, manufacturing and construction industries. She also served honorably for eight years in the U.S. Army National Guard as an ordnance officer.
Johnson received a Bachelor of Science degree from Lincoln University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
