DriRox®
Kiln-Dried White Salt
Every snow removal program should have DriRox® high-purity, high-performing road salt in its arsenal. This product can be found on Clear Roads QPL.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DriRox deicer is a free-flowing, non-clumping, kiln-dried solar salt with a low moisture content of less than 0.1% to reduce caking and binding. It makes an ideal brining salt.
DRYROX®
Low-Moisture Deicing Salt
Compass Minerals U.K. is Britain’s largest supplier of natural rock salt, which is used by winter maintenance professionals to help thaw icy roads in wintry weather. DryRox® 6 deicer is ideal if you need an assured low-moisture salt. This product meets BS3247:2011 specifications.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DryRox 6 rock salt is a low-moisture salt mixed with a small amount of anti-caking additive to maintain spreading properties after prolonged storage.

QwikSalt deicer is high-purity solar evaporated sodium chloride, mixed with magnesium chloride and an anti-caking agent for optimal flowability.

Enhanced Deicing Road Salt
Thawrox® enhanced deicer delivers exceptional cold-weather snow and ice management for your snow removal program, no pre-wetting required. This product can be found on Clear Roads QPL.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Thawrox deicing salt combines the powerful performance of magnesium chloride with the proven melting effects of rock salt. There’s no need to pre-wet; it arrives ready to apply with any spreader to melt snow and ice quickly, even in low temperatures.
Winsford Rock Salt
Rock Solid Performance Where And When It Matters
Compass Minerals U.K. extracts, crushes and screens rock salt from its Winsford mine.
Winsford rock salt is more than 90% pure sodium chloride, with the remaining insolubles consisting mainly of Keuper Marl, which is a layer of clay from the late Triassic or ‘Keuper’ period.
Keuper Marl has weathering properties, which give Winsford rock salt its unique ‘thatching’ effect, protecting the salt quality.
Marl also contributes to improved friction when salt is used as a highway deicer.
