Jerry Smith has served as vice president, chief information officer, since 2002, with responsibility for information technology, including technical operations and enterprise systems.
Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Mr. Smith was vice president of information technology at House of Lloyd, a direct marketer of gift items, from 2001 to 2002. He was previously executive vice president of information technology at PVI, a technology reseller and information technology consulting company; vice president, business systems, at Cerner Corp., a provider of healthcare information technology systems; senior vice president of network services at UMB Bank; and vice president, global operations at Knight-Ridder Financial.
Mr. Smith holds a business degree from Ottawa (Kansas) University and a technology degree from DeVry Institute of Technology. |
